Works perfectly for a Volt, does the job. It does not fit the volt exactly but good enough to protect the port. From snow, freezing rain, rainTo tighten the bag on it, put it on the car, plug car in, and THEN tighten the end around the cord. It's easier that way.But honestly, the price of this is okay, but it's just a magnet with a bag on it.

Love this! It’s perfect for when it snows outside and I need to charge my car (maybe someday my husband will finish cleaning the garage and I won’t need this…but until then). The magnets are great and stick great to my car. Keeps the snow out of the charging port. Some people say it doesn’t adhere to their car well, mine is a Lexus and I have no problems. Highly recommend

Live in Boston area and love this. Bought because we had some freezing rain and snow that made it difficult to pull the charger and close the charging door on a trip. Saw this and got it. Did what it needed to do. Due to the size of my RV4 prime battery door it not a perfect fit but kept the snow out. Well worth it

Product looks well made, magnets are ridged but form up well, looks like product would work great. However it wont stick to the charge port of my 2022 Chevy Bolt. I believe the magnets are either too weak or the panels surrounding the charge port are plastic. good concept wish it came with suction cups as well will have to modify it myself to make it work. Best of luck to everybody else out there, very disappointed it didn't workout out of the box.

Came here a couple of weeks ago in desperation looking for something that would cover the charge port in a snow storm because the articulated hinge design on the Chevy Volt is an invitation for snow and ice to gunk up the hinge and make it so you can't close the door. This has held up through several snow storms so far. Magnet to body is nice and strong and the perimeter/circumference is adjustable. Plenty of room to go around the port on a on Gen 2 Volt. Love that it rolls away neatly tied by the velcro strap too. I shake off the snow and throw it on the rubber mat of my passenger side to dry. Some kind of charge port cover is a must if you don't charge in a garage and this does the trick. Will follow up to review how it holds up through the winter, but at this price I'd be happy to purchase a new one each season.

I bought this for my car charger on the RAV4 Prime. It barely fit around the charging door, which was my biggest concern, as I didn't want any rain or bird poop making it in the charging port area. So I do wish it was bigger, also if it gets dirty, which it will. It can and likely will cause some microscratches to show up on your paint where the magnetic strip is holding the cover to your car.Did the job, average product

The cover is a perfect fit for our Mazda CX-90 plug-in. It fits over the entire port and cover and seals well against the vehicle. It has stayed on in strong winds and kept the plug-in port area dry.We will see how it fairs during the winter, but so far it is good.The magnets can be moved around slightly to create a good fit. The material seems to be durable enough and not too thin. Also the velcro strap attaches it well to the plug cord - no leaks from that end.Edit: Jan 2025. I have been using this in winter for a couple months now and it works great. Only thing is sometimes you have to re-tighten the strap that seals it around the cord, but otherwise it has held on through snow and wind and has kept the charging port dry. Great product so far!
