I was introduced to this ocean drum at a retreat where the yoga teacher was using it in her classes. I just love the ocean wave sound that one can make with these drums, and I happily sit down and very gently tilt a drum this way and that, and create quite a zenlike ambiance. You can close your eyes and imagine you are at the water's edge on the beach. They make cool gifts too!! And well worth the money for the pleasure it gives.

I knew these would be cheap quality when I ordered them, but chose to purchase them anyhow. They were even cheaper quality than I expected. The sound is decent on the largest one and I'm sure I'll get some use out of them in my music classroom. My students liked when I demonstrated them in class. Time will tell how long they will last.

Bought these for my grandchildren but I ended up keeping them. I find them very soothing but they’re definitely not made for little hands.

I felt these were made well-the plastic covering was pretty thick. You would need to use these with supervision for kids obviously. The sounds were pretty cool. Is similar to a rain stick but if swirled really does sound like the pounding surf of the ocean. I felt these were well constructed and were definitely worth the cost for this unique item!

These are really cool! This is my first time seeing this type of instrument. After a few minutes of messing with it you can find the right angle to maintain the sound. It really does sound like the ocean! Totally worth the price. Bigger ones sound the best because it has more surface area for a longer sound.

I wanted A wave sound therapy and this isn't it for me. Only the bigger one sounds a little like waves..I tried some that are working so awesome...I guess it goes with the price too.
