I purchased this Fire Pot to replace the original Traeger Fire Pot that had rusted through. The installation was going great until I realized that the opening for the auger tube was too small. This caused the mounting holes to not line up. I used a rat tail file to enlarge the bottom of the opening. TIP- attach a string to the old Hot Rod plug before you pull out the wiring harness. Then attach the string to the new plug and pull it back through the holes and save yourself some time.

Wasn't sure how a non OEM traeger part would work or last but the fire pot surprised me with how heavy and the thick Guage of the steel construction. Used it 3 times now for longer cooks and works perfectly.
