These don't really work if you don't catch a fish. Do that first and then they are pretty good. Thin and spring loaded to make manipulating a hook in the tiny mouths of the tiny fish I seem to be regulated to catch much easier.

Gave 4 starts as it was top-heavy it flipped over upside down on my belt for the belt holder is really wide which is good for different size belts so I had to make Velcro sewn to it and keep it upright in the pliers are top-heavy so mine flip over. Long like I liked to get hooks out. Good in saltwater

Excellent pliers, has a built in cutter that cuts braid and flouro perfectly.

Came exactly as it looks. The problem is they are very flimsy. The pliers twist when you're trying to take a hook out of a bigger fish. They worked well for crappie and sunfish, but not very good on bigger fish like bass and pike. I would not buy or recommend this product.

Unfortunately they were not the quality I was looking for, they were kind enough to refund my money on the pliers.
