These work great and I recommend keeping them on the leash. I’ve been using these at least once a week fishing since May. Work great, only a tiny bit of rust around the holes where the center spring inserts into the handles. Way better than the cheap roach-clips you get at the bait shop

Used it on a Canadian fly in trip. Had it clipped to my belt loop the whole time. Invaluable! The lanyard is awesome, and kept it from flying into the water many times and kept them handy. The slight hook in the jaws was key in unhooking treble hooks that northerns had gulped down deep. The worst part was that the guy in my boat kept asking to borrow them! These are priced right, so next trip I'll buy one for everyone in the group as a camp gift. Then I won't have to take them off my belt loop every time my boat partner needs a pair. I would recommend to friends, and I will buy again when these wear out or get lost. The sheath is flimsy and cheap, but I just slid them into my front pocket.

seem strong enough I have crimped a few lead, the line cutter works well , very convenient , I especially like the tether , I canoe fish and Stand up board fish, so light weight , multiple uses and the tether to not loose them is a benefit. the nylon holster is sort of a joke but I figured it probably would be , I just clip them to my belt loop and put them in my pocket. I did find them to slippery to stay in the hand well, but I fixed that with a wood burner melting cross hatches into the plastic handles.I am sure there are better fishing pliers out there but at twice or more the price.if they could figure out how to add an eye buster that would be handy for cleaning out jig eyes.

The lightweight aspect is great, they are durable, comfortable to use, look good and remove hooks from a fish's mouth easily because of their size. I've used them a lot so far and they seem durable.

Great pair of pliers for fishing. These are durable and well-made. If you do get them wet, make sure to dry them off before you close them and put them away.

These seem to work well as far as cutting braid and general fishing tasks but won’t stay locked so they spring open and fall out of the pocket on my bag. Really my only complaint but would keep me from buying them again.

I was tired of replacing my pliers every few months. I’m so happy that I found this product! You will never replace these. They will cut through the strongest lines and even metal. Make sure to wash them down with fresh water if you get them in the salt water! They can rust
