Easy to install. Eyelet ring was to small so I heated metal with a torch until red and it slipped in without a problem. I gorilla glued it together.

The kit included a good variety of ceramic inserts for fishing rod eyelets. I was able to fix mine by measuring the eyelet diameter and matching an insert's outer diameter. Since it was an exact fit, it was tricky to press it in without breaking the ceramic ring. I was able to do it by heating the eyelet so it can expand and the ring fit in perfectly. I finished by adding a bit of epoxy glue around the contact areas. Overall it afforded me an easy and inexpensive fix. The insert appears to be good quality and it matched the previous one. So far, no issues.

I had two guides on my baitcaster pole that had chipped ceramic inserts. I was able to buy this kit instead of replacing the entire pole or the whole guides themselves. The trick is to clean the metal guides well and use heat to expand the ring on the metal guides. I used a small torch to expand the ring then placed the insert with small pliers. Be careful, the ring will be hot. Once it cooled, the ring felt solid inside. I then used the liquid super glue around the edge of the insert and metal ring. Hope it holds!

There must be 100 pieces in the kit and believe it or not I couldn’t find one eyelet that fit my Diawa Rod ! I ultimately made some adjustments and made one fit!
