Most of the stuff I buy off of Amazon is toward the junky end of the manufacturing spectrum. This has been a pleasant surprise. Arrived assembled and in excellent condition. Nice machining, welding, painting and construction. All the parts fit and are true and square. Sits level on the floor. Each folding leg has a 3 point lockup and is super secure. The bench is well designed and correctly supported with steel rails underneath. The cover feels like quality and is neatly attached. The bench is unusually comfortable for something so firm. It gives very little when I sit on it yet it’s a delight to lay on. Easy to fold up and put under my bed. Heavy enough to feel substantial but not so heavy as to be difficult to move around. Perfect for my light duty workouts of dumbbells and stretching. To help put my comments into perspective, this is a very nice homeowner piece of equipment and not a professional bench for bench presses in a gym. That’s a completely different level of construction. For a folding center post bench it’s solid.The large white logo on the cover is tacky.Update. Mine was missing a piece and I could not find a way to contact the seller so I shipped it back and bought another one. The pad on the second one was lumpy and the cover was attached in a very sloppy way. Really frustrating because the first one had an amazing pad and cover. So I’ve ordered yet another one. We will see. Took away 2 stars from the original review.Update: Before I hit the reorder button the seller contacted me and corrected the issue. Back to 5 stars. Unusually good customer service.

The bench arrived quickly and will packaged. It set up in about 2 minutes and is very stable, I've had close to 400 pounds of total weight on it so far and not even a wobble so I feel pretty safe using it.I love how easily it folds up which is super important for a home bench as I don't have a dedicated weight room, so being able to put it away after I'm done is great. It's a perfect size for inside too, but I still want to be able to put it away when through.Overall a great value and quality piece of equipment I will get a lot of use from when I need to get in a hole workout.

This bench is very sturdy. The frame goes all around the border unlike others with one rod down the middle. This makes it very comfortable and not wobbly. The cushion is thicker than many for this price. And the foldable design is perfect. Replaced my other bench with this immediately. Highly recommend this product.

recently purchased for my home gym. couldn't be happier. incredibly easy to assemble, took less than 10min to put it together. perfect size and super stable, not shaky at all. good for bench press or other weight routines. padding is comfortable and firm to provide great support. also love the compact nature of it. can be stored away when not need.

This bench meets every need one can imagine- it's well sized for taller people, but not so large as to be obstructive when in use. It folds easily and fastens sturdily. I often do dips and leg raises on the bench and it's wide enough to allow me to lay flat and support my legs without wavering. One of the best purchases I've made!

Bench feels very sturdy and stable. I worked out with dumbbells, body weight exercises, & step up on this bench without wobbling. The bench is also firm and comfortable. It provides good support during workouts.

Pretty happy with it. Its really the perfect mix of soft and firm so it stays comfy for the whole training session. It hold my weight perfectly without giving up or making me feel like its gonna snap. Easy to set up and easy to move, it also doesn't take much place when you're done.Pretty simple and pretty effective.

This is a Houbos Flat Bench, Flat Weight Workout Exercise Bench Easy Assembly, Foldaway Bench for Adjustable Dumbbells or an Adjustable Dumbbell Set, Strength Training Bench Press.The bench is well made and very sturdy. The joints where it hinges are strong and have a pull pin that you have to pull out to allow the legs to fold under the bench. The same pin keeps the legs folded so they don't flop around if you pick the bench up when its folded. If you want a more rigid bench setup, there are a set of knobs that can be screwed into the ends that mechanically fasten the legs in the unfolded position. They are easy to take out to fold but its meant to provide stability for a more permanent setup. The foam top on the bench is stiff and thick. It doesn't collapse when you sit on it or lift heavy weights. I really liked the firmness and support it offered.The material on the bench felt nice but I question the longevity of it. Ours arrived from the factory with a cut on one end. There was nothing in the box that indicated that the cut happened during shipping, so it had to have been shipped from the factory like that. When I pressed on the cut, it easily tore further, which makes me wonder what will happen if you accidentally puncture the cover. I suspect it will tear along the end of the cut. A bench top needs to be supple but strong. It will take some abuse over its lifetime and twisting and pulling will make it susceptible to tears.

Upon receiving this “Houbos Flat Bench, Flat Weight Workout Exercise Bench Easy,Assembly,Foldaway Bench for Adjustable Dumbbells or an Adjustable Dumbbell Set,Strength Training Bench Press†to try out and review, my first impression was that it arrived with the legs folded, but basically completely set up (as shown in my first picture), when folded each leg is secured with a pin that can not easily be removed. To set-up, just pull the pin out and adjust the knob and pull leg down and readjust knob to full tightness and add pin back in for security. The legs have gripped rubber bottoms to prevent slippage on smooth floors.As easy as it is to assembly it can be just as quickly folded back up for storage, travel, moving, etc… It could be great for a mobile gym set-up or trade shows or other mobile needs. Apart from these practical features, it’s simply very sturdy feeling, it claims a 600lb weight limit and definitely feels like it won’t be a problem to support any one in our household along with our weights. This wouldn’t stand up to the rigours of a commercial gym, but feels like good quality that will last long when well cared for in a home gym.Aesthetically, the vinyl is a matte finish which is going to show finger prints and other marks, which is not a big problem, but what I really dislike is the bold logo (not shown in the Amazon listing photos), which is nonsensical letters. I really dislike when sellers show a plain and simple, unmarked product, but when received it has a highly visible logo of a non-existent word. I prefer a minimalist look and these kind of logos cheapen the overall aesthetic. This is minor and doesn’t affect the use of the bench, but I find this frustrating not to receive what you’re expecting and if I could deduct 1/2 a star, I would.
