Please refer to the following ways to protect Kalimba:
1. Avoid bad weather and avoid placing kalimba directly in the sun.
2. For wet weather, first put kalimba in cloth bag then put it in the box.
3. After using kalimba, wipe with a cleaning cloth for avoiding causing rust.
How to tune the kalimba

Tuning steps:
(1) Pluck the middle tine of the Kalimba.
(2) Use the tuning hammer to tune the tine, until the note in the tuner matches the default note and the pointer directing to the center position.

Purchased 3 of these for Christmas presents. The acrylic kalimba is absolutely beautiful, strong and smooth, just the perfect size for a child's hands from about age 5+ to adults. The sounds are crystal clear, loud enough indoors without being too loud! The musical sounds are pleasant too! It arrived perfectly boxed-packaged ready to wrap & gift. It includes tuning hammer, note supplies and sturdy protective zipped case. Definitely worth the money and all the joy it'll bring a child or adult of any age! Definitely recommend this musical item!

I ordered this product looking for a new instrument to pick up in my past time, and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by this Kalimba.The wood is light, (though thin), and the color/dye is a lovely deep slightly turquoise-y blue. The etched design is pretty clean, and the wood (possible plastic) is smooth, so there's no worry of splinters.The drawstring bag is made of a soft velvety material that's lovely for a soft, non-abrasive bag, but seems to attract every pet hair, loose pine needle, or any other debris it happens to come across.My Kalimba had one "dead" tine, it doesn't ring too well, and just makes a high-pitched PLINK sound. I havrnt had to use that specific key, thankfully, but it might be wprth noting for others. Overall, this Kalimba otherwise has a lovely, music-box sound.Definitely seems like a good Kalimba for anyone wanting to start out.

Ordered this kalimba as a gift but was able to try it out beforehand. It is fun to play and soothing to listen to at the same time. It comes with a storage case, tuning tool, and detailed instruction manual, and it’s well packaged.

Bought (because of the Gods Must Be Crazy) for camping trips. Did have some troubles tuning the smaller notes on the edge but got there in the end (The hammer supplied needs a very light touch). Speaking of supplies the booklet is well written and the note styles are easy to understand. I haven't learned any songs on it yet but just as a n00b strumming it sounds pretty good! Looking forward to learning it and even bought a second one so my mum doesn't have to be so envious!
