Easy to install and fits perfect. So far it's working very well. Let's see how long. I have Amerucanb Standard brand commode and nothing is suppose to last except for the standard brand. I also bought other new parts for tank , same make and it's like I have brand new commode.

Works great so far, easy to fit, and the water saving dial is great. flushes very well on the lowest setting. only 1/4 of the tank emptied per flush.

It fits!!! I am an 88 year old female and this was exactly what I needed to replace the one (don't know how old) I needed. Have just ordered two more since I have two more tanks that are leaking and plan to replace those as soon as I receive the new ones. WOW, I was wasting a lot of water. I had to turn the water to the tank off in order to stop it from running. So glad a found these! Really easy to replace. Came with very good directions. If in double watch the video.

I bought this because I had a leaky toilet. The rubber was deteriorating. This was a great replacement. Pretty easy to install. Does this job is a good flapper my toilet it's been operational for quite some time now because of this and I didn't have to pay somebody to do it.

It is exactly as depicted. The plastic is fairly thick for what it is, so considering its placement I think it will last a very very long time. The one we had prior was entirely made of rubber and it had sagged and torn over time, leaving an endless flow of water that racked up an extra $50/m on our city bill. Putting this on was SUPER easy, I am a woman (and certainly not a plumber) and I had no problem clicking it into place or attaching the chain to the lever. I love the price, very fair. As mentioned, the top cap is plastic, but I find that beneficial. Firstly, it will not sag as the old one did. Secondly, it makes movement easy, as its quick to lift and quick to drop. Mind you this toilet is in my young children's room, so they need something that doesnt require excess effort to flush. Highly recommend.

I recently found that there was a constant trickle of water from the toilet cistern into the pan. The cistern has a Fluid Master flapper valve that I fitted in 2011 and I noticed that when it was in the shut position it wasn't forming a water tight seal any more.After lots of fiddling about and no success (in fact, I ended up making things worse so that the trickle became a proper flow!), I discovered through blogs that the flapper mechanism often become distorted after typically 5 years of use and need to be replaced. There's no need to replace the whole flush mechanism, just the red valve.I ordered a replacement flapper valve and installed it within 10 minutes (the bit that took longest was fiddling to get the chain to the right length).Note that Fluid Master produces 3 variants of the flapper valve - the one I needed was a 502, so should you need to replace yours please just check that yours looks the same as this one; if not, it could be a 501 or 504 variant.

More expensive than a basic flapper valve but being adjustable for flush volume is a plus. And the valve shuts with a real snap at the right volume. Installation is easy - just be sure about the chain length.
