Although this is designed for hanging and storing a bike, I am using it for my EMTB so I can lube the chain without help. It is difficult to oil a EMTB chain as you have to pedal forward to rotate the chain which means the rear wheel has to be off the ground. I installed this on a wood support post in my garage, now I can quickly drop this rack down put the bike on it and turn the cranks and apply the lube. I can air the tires, adjust the derailleur, and other small adjustments without having to get out the repair stand. I put a magnet on the wood post to hold it in the up position so it does not accidentally drop down when parking the car.I will say that if the top bar on you bike is wide the V shape of the hooks will not work well, all I had to do was bend them out a bit flatter and problem solved. Great item for the price.

The instructions are not on English but if you need them…I seriously bolted it in but find there is space between the shaft and the holder which makes it wobbly.Will try to shim the joint with a washer but doubt I will be able to get it in as is a round surface against a flat surface.You can do better out there

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to store your bikes, this is the product for you. This bike rack can be mounted on a single stud in less than 5 minutes, and it can hold any type of bike securely. I have four of these racks in my garage and they have freed up a lot of space. This is the best solution for bike storage that I have found.

The screws snapped while trying to run them through pre-drilled holes. The hardware there using may as well be made of clay. The rack itself seems fine but I have to go buy new hardware before I can use it.

It was easy to install and had strong screws included. It is strong enough to hang a bike on the wall. Also it has all the flexibility of more expensive ones.

It looks like a great product for a fair price. I ordered 2, but both were assembled upside down and one was missing a nut, so I cant put it together.
