These bags work well. We buy value packs of meat when on sale but being only two people we freeze portion out amounts. Once defrosted or almost defrosted I cut open and food slide right out. The bags seal well preventing freezer burn.

My family uses costco for the majority of our meat and these bags are the best thing to ensure that the meat doesn't go bad in the freezer. They cut easy, work perfectly to seal, seal tight and last for at least a year (I use meat before it gets that old).When I get really energetic I will salt and pepper the meat and then take it right out of the freezer and sous vide the meat. So they are really flexible for whatever you need.Price point is great and the quality is high.

These are the Food Saver brand, I find are more durable than the off brand. I like the roll so I can make the bag the size I need. A bit pricey, but they are difficult to find locally.

These rolls are the same as the ones that come with your FoodSaver machine. They come in a brown box but they are exactly the same as the ones in the store bought boxes. Best price I could find.
