This kit saved me from having to purchase a new fishing reel! I have owned this reel for quite some time and it’s one of my favorites. My last trip I was reeling in a fish, luckily it was a small one, and in the middle of landing the fish the reel handle separates from the reel. I had to hand line the fish the rest of the way. Upon inspecting the real, I figured out what happened. It appears that the roll pin that was holding the handle to the reel just fell out and it’s separated. I tried to fix it with just a piece of wire, but it was still too sloppy. I searched on Amazon for an inexpensive roll pin kit and I came upon this particular one, ordered it and it arrived the next day. It had the exact size and length roll pin that I needed to repair the reel. Once I had it I was able to repair it in less than five minutes! It’s a great kit and I’m sure I’ll find use for some of the other sizes and lengths that are included in the kit but if I don’t, I was able to repair my favorite reel for about 12 bucks and I doubt I could’ve bought another one or found the same model anywhere near this price.
