I was at the end of my rope trying to get the fuel pump out of my Cadillac STS when I saw this tool. I had tried other tools, rent a tool, my own ideas(not good), this tool(with considerable elbow torque), brought it right out. I thought my ratchet or extension had broken it came out so quickly. It's heavy duty built and I hope I never have to use it again but if I do I won't hesitate to use this tool again.

Worked great for metal ring. Being able to use a socket driver instead of banging with a hammer was great. Less damage and chance of tank puncture

I tried using this on a 2002 Camaro. I ended up using a brass drift to get it to release. The tool seems well made and would likely work on older style lock rings that turn more easily.

I like that it’s adjustable. It’s strong and sturdy. Can’t beat it for the price point.

The quality seemed ok, as I put a bunch of force on it, and it didn't break. The tool does not work well for the 5 tab ring on my 2011 Sonata, as the arm slots do not line up, they work for an even number of tabs, or are for 6 tabs? maybe, also the car body gets in the way of getting the tool in a perfect position. In the end it damaged the lock ring, but was slightly helpful when it was mostly removed with a vice grip, hammer and screw driver. The lock ring was pretty rusty, and difficult to remove

The arms never stay put, and the bolts that hold them broke the 2nd time I used it.

I tried to make it fit and ended up breaking the screw off in one of the legs. Got it screwed back on with two of the three legs. Not a proper fit for a 2007 Chevy express van

This tool made removing and replacing the fuel lock ring a breeze. The ring part anyway. The last couple time I did the job without this tool was an ugly hassle with a lot of cuss words, we beat that ring silly. This time (whole different vehicle) popped off the ring easy. To reinstall I had to change the slots and tighten it down where I wanted then it was as easy. 02 Buick lesabre just fyi.

Takes quite a bit of torque. Like that it's adjustable. Glad I had this to remove the rusted fuel ring. Lots of PB blaster. Used a screwdriver to carefully break the rust between locks and ring. Worked just as well to torque the ring back on.
