I got these for my mother, who loves gardening but struggles with hoses and attachments due to her arthritis. These are made of solid brass and seem very durable. They have a leak free fit. They’re super easy to use and are quick to connect and disconnect. They look visually pleasing as well! I love that they come with so many extra gaskets. These are such a great value for the money. I’ll definitely be buying more.

Wanted a larger set of quick connects for my various sprinkler and sprayers so I could use them quickly on any of my three hose taps. These work great and I like that they come with extra o-rings. No issues after one season, would buy again

I love these things. They take all the screwing around out of using hoses. Sure, you still need to protect that tiny o-ring at the male end, but they make your life easier anywhere you use garden hoses (except on the back of a dehumidifier, where they'll make it back up into the dump bucket instead of draining off into your half-barrel). They make life... a snap. Did you see what I did there? Ya.I bought these... because I run two dehumidifiers, side-by-side, in my basement to try & keep the humidity down there below 50%. It's wet here. So I route the condensate into a 55-gallon barrel (the dehumidifiers are on a stand to get them high enough) for collection... it takes about one week to fill the barrel. Aaaaand ... I have a submersible pump in the barrel, and it's connected to a short section of washing-machine hose, which in turn is connected to the house plumbing, and routed to the washing-machine tandem faucet via a two-way valve (so the tandem faucet can get either barrel water or house water). When it uses barrel water, our laundry comes out just ever-so-clean because dehumidifer water is the softest water in the world... and I don't have to carry it out of the basement in 5-gallon buckets and throw it on the ground. That's in summer. For winter... I have a half-barrel set up under the condensate drain on our propane furnace, which produces... really quite a lot of water because that furnace is wicked efficient. PVC chimney efficient. And... I drop my sub pump into the half-barrel to satisfy that li'l itch. Keeps us in (otherwise expensive) distilled water for free, don't'cha know. Can't beat that with the ugly stick.But... I digress. The quick-connects? They enter the picture were the pump connects to the house. They're super-reliable and super-fast, and they even let me connect to a garden hose leading out the basement window for garden water when we can't keep up with our laundry water usage. So zero waste. They're also great on the pressure washer (low-pressure side, of course!) and general garden-hose use. Pop a nozzle on anywhere with no arthritis threat. Bango zango, you're good to go.And these came with spare rubber! Talk about a bonus!

Years ago I converted all the garden hoses at my house to metal quick connect couplers. I bought them at Walmart to try out and they were OK... for a while. The trouble with a lot of the inexpensive couplers is that there is no seal between the male and female ends. They rely on the seal between the female housing and the hose to protrude far enough inward so that when the male end is inserted it will bottom out on the seal. This doesn't work well and is always a balancing act between too much preload on the seal (can't get the connectors apart or put them together) and too little preload (leaks everywhere). When I saw this connector with a separate o-ring seal on the male end, I finally made up my mind to scrap those junky Walmart quick connects. You get 14 pairs of connectors in this pack. I doubt I'll ever need all those female connectors (I don't have 14 garden hoses at home) but I can certainly use a lot of the male connectors. I have hose nozzles, a pressure washer, a gutter cleaning wand, a sprinkler... it adds up fast. Each connector pair comes with 3 hose seals as well as a spare o-ring for the male connector. This is a nice touch because it gives you replacements for the most common leak points (as long as you can remember where you put them a year or two from now). I didn't check to see but I'm guessing that the o-ring is a common size, probably metric. I won't run out for a while, but if I ever do I'm sure I'll be able to find some.I made the swap last Saturday and instantly eliminated all the leaks that were plaguing my old connectors. Good riddance to those things, these are WAY better.Whenever I install any hose connectors, I put a light layer of Super Lube on the threads and o-rings. This keeps the metal parts from seizing together and the rubber parts from abrading during assembly/disassembly. I also install a 1/4 turn shutoff before each quick connect (on the end of the hose). This allows me to shut off the water before disconnecting things. Now I don't have to fight the water pressure to unplug a hose nozzle, and it keeps the mess to a minimum. This kit was right around $40, which is more money than you'd likely spend if you just bought a few connectors at the hardware store. However, these appear to be high quality, you get a lot of them, and you get spare seals to keep them going for years (I hope). Even a cheapskate like me can see the value in them.

Included are 6 hose connectors individually wrapped in small plastic bags and came in a sturdy box. These are brass fittings and they appear to be solid and well constructed, additional washers are included as well. The quick connect is a plus for connecting and disconnecting hoses, sprinklers and swapping garden nozzles. They fit with ease and no leaks. Will see how they hold up with time. These are a great value considering I almost bought another name brand at half the cost of these which only supplied one connector.

I bought these because I use several different hoses on many different attachments and they work quick and simple. Well built units

I couldn't believe the quality of those fittings when they arrived. They are actually made of brass as opposed to the more popular makes made of plastic. The female to male mating of the two parts of the couplers go together easily. The thing one has to remember is to ensure the female part outer ring snaps to the locking position to ensure they stay together. Otherwise you get a shower. This is because, unlike other brands, the female part of the coupler does not have an automatic closing valve built into it. This is the only detriment. Other than that this is a great product and would recommend to anyone who has a lot of outside water taps and hoses which need a lot of connecting and disconnecting

I ordered and received these quick hose connectors this last weekend. I immediately tested one pair and found them to be the best quick connectors I've ever owned. I have been working without for the last couple of years as my old quick connects were just no good anymore and were leaking a lot.Super happy to have some new ones that do not leak!
