This blade replacement fits both the 8885 and 8893 Gardena models that take the 3-inch blade. It is worth the money. I suggest a light coat of oil to keep the blade edges rust-free.

These shears are absolutely wonderful. The batteries far outlast any other shears we have purchased. Cuts through tough St. Augustine grass easily. I use these shears to trim my flowers and plants also. I bought an extra blade to use while getting the other sharpened. The telescoping wand is great for easy trimming, but with my grass I really have to use handheld to trim effectively. The cord is a little awkward to insert because it is located in the middle of the handle inside. Ultimately though this product is excellent and I would avoid those cheaper B&D shears at Lowe's and Home Depot, they are way inferior! Best bang for my buck!

My original blade started to get dull and I found it difficult to properly sharpen it. Hence, I purchased the replacement blade. It worked like a charm and is super sharp. A side note - I "studied" the new blade and figured out the proper way to sharpen my original blade. Now I have two sets of blade that I can interchange whenever one gets dull. I also strongly recommend you wipe down the blade and add a light touch of oil on it after every usage. Helps to protect your "investment".

These are great clippers. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that you can only have then sharpened 1 time. They are expensive and the replacement head is also expensive so if using around flower borders with any edging the clippers will become dull after many uses. I try to get at least 2 seasons use per set of heads.

Best grass trimmers we ever used. Just ordered replacement blades after two years of use, they stay sharp a long time & the replacement is so easy to change, no tools needed, there is nothing out there than even compares, worth the money!!P.S. We clean our blades after every use with a little WD-40 & it keeps them in pristine shape!

We have had the Gardena shears for several years now and it was time to replace the blade. Just snap the new blade in place and it's like a brand new unit. It works perfectly on grass edges and small bushes. As an avid gardener, I highly recommend this product.

The Gardena grass shears are easily the best battery powered shears I ever owned. Using them almost makes trimming fun but the blades eventually get dull and are difficult if not impossible to sharpen. This replacement blade is east to install and lasts a long time. The downside is, it is expensive.

Evita di acquistare tutta la cesoia. Basta staccare con un click la lama che non taglia più e sostituirla facilmente con il blocco di ricambio. Non servono cacciaviti. Basta incastrare il pezzo ed agganciare il pezzo. Ottima marca. Sono alcuni anni che ho il tagliabordi elettrico di gardena e mi trovo molto bene. Allego le foto perché si vede meglio come è fatto il pezzo. È compatibile anche col modello di cesoria 8893.
