Was very surprised and pleased with the quality and the "heft" of all the pans, especially the 15 inch,,, "you could probably use it to ward off a bear as a last resort ! ! ! ". Definitely NOT some cheap flimsy piece of junk that is all too commonly seen with today's products. It all arrived quickly, was packaged well and safe. I received the 3 different sized pans, the classifier, a DVD, the 2 books, suction bottle, 2 vials, tweezers, and magnifier. The 15 inch pan is easy and nice to hold as on the bottom of it there is a ridge that runs all the way around to grip your fingertips onto as well as some ridges going up the outer side, "opposite the inner riffles". I think a very well and thought out engineered pan, constructed with a very durable and thick material, yet it still is light enough to work comfortably. We are a family of 5 so I ordered two more of the 15 inch Super Sluice pans so everyone can have some fun panning at the same time. All of this should last a lifetime with "normal" recreational use. Even if used everyday I don't think you could wear these out. I would recommend this Gold Pan Kit to family and friends for sure. On the back of the box there is a picture with, "This kit contains: (and shows everything I mentioned above), with a disclaimer at the bottom that reads, (Comes with everything you see here (gold not included). Well,,, the picture shows a stream with rocks,,, guess what ? There was no stream, and there were no rocks like in the picture,,, so don't be disappointed when you open yours and you don't see a stream and rocks tumbling out of the box.

I researched gold panning methods and pans extensively over the last several months. I bought this kit because it contained the best equipment for the lowest price. I was very pleased that the kit was much better than described and costs less then $50. The books and DVD may be on the old side but are right on with instructions, pictures and descriptions. I was especially impressed with the largest wet/dry pan. All have deep 90 degree ridges that make panning for amateurs a cinch. I took the smallest pan out with me yesterday and found some flour gold and one placer piece. I have never panned before and had a great time. This kit will not disappoint!

The patented 90 degree riffles in these pans are the ticket for your best chance at finding placer gold. Garrett does it again and comes out with a terrific product. Roy Lagal designed these ( a true old time gold panner) and Charles Garrett manufactures them. There green for seeing gold or other gems much more easily. There thick plastic for durability and can be scanned with a metal detector. You get a great DVD showing how easy it is to pan for gold (wet or dry) by the late Virgil Hutton and also a segment on Weekend Prospecting. There are also other items included, tweezers, vial, classifier (sifter), and great little book about panning. What more can you ask? It costs a little more being the Deluxe Gold Pan Kit, but I didn't mind paying a little more as I didn't want to be sorry for not getting it later on. (It has the big Super Sluice Pan not included in the other kit) I received it quickly and in fine shape. I'm sure you will be happy with the best!

I'm new to the hobby of prospecting and needed some pans and a few other items and this kit had most of those items. So all you need now is a shovel and ( sandpaper to season your pans) and you're set ...

We enjoy camping. The boys play for hours in the creeks with this gear. They even use their creativity to try to build a sluice. We haven't found our fortune but we found fun.

When first received I liked the quality in the Gold Pans. The pans are constructed of a good,durable,quality and thick plastic. The Classifier has no metal, so it nice if you are using a metal detector to see if you have no nuggets in the classifier. Didn't really care for the books, they seemed like they were a advertisement for there other products and didn't really help me out in the search for gold. The gold holding tubes are made of plastic, so i didn't like them. I like the sound of gold in the glass holding tubes. All in all, well worth the money. You will have years or a lifetime of use with the gold pans.

ho ricevuto il materiale nei tempi previsti. imballo perfetto e materiale esattamente conforme all'ordine. il prodotto è ben realizzato, non posso esprimere giudizi sulla sua robustezza e su quanto potrà durare ma ad un primo contatto mi sembra ben fatto. Non do le 5 stelle solo perché la manualistica e il cd sono in inglese e non in italiano.

Der Versand war super fix, sogar per Express, das hat mich positiv überrascht. Ware kam unbeschädigt an. Der Preis ist tatsächlich gerechtfertigt, habe parallel noch eine billigere Pfanne bestellt und die Qualitätsunterschiede sind deutlich. Die Pfannen und die Extras sind hervorragend verarbeitet, das kleine Begleitbuch ist sehr nützlich für Anfänger. Wieder ein Fall von lieber etwas mehr Geld investieren, wenn man was Gutes haben möchte. Kann dieses Set nur weiterempfehlen :)

These are really good pans. The super sluice pan is really good for panning higher volumes of material. It is super strong. There is a regular size pan that is light, but quite strong as well, and a small backpacking pan that is nice and light too. The classifier works well and is really light too. The snufer bottle is good quality. I highly recommend this kit. They were delivered really quick too!
