Haven't had a chance to try it yet but it appears to be very well build. I like that you can adjust the handle length to suit your height. Would recommend. Will update after I use it.

Walking on a sandy beach is difficult for an old guy and maybe even a young person. This nice quality sand scoop works well and keeps me from having to bend over excessively. I love it and can’t wait to use it again with my metal detecting.

This is a solidly built sand scoop for the beach. We often hit the beach looking for rocks or fossils and take a sand scoop with us.I really like how this one breaks down easily for storage in the car on the way out to our trips and back. The handle attaches quickly for use and packs just as fast.This is the most heavily reinforced sand scoop I have seen to date. It should last for years with no problems.You can use it with the removable plastic handle or the extension bars.

This is a sturdy and strong sand scoop, which is the most important thing to me because we all know how incredibly frustrating and difficult it is to feel like you have to baby the scoop because you're afraid it'll break... I don't have to worry one bit with this scoop, it's got a solid attachment to the pole and the pole is a nive thick solid piece.Been using it in hard lake sand, which is only sand for about 8 inches before i hit soil, and it works great.Gonna be using it at the beach this fall.Hopefully this is the last sand scoop i need for a long while because I've never found anything to justify my investment in beach combing, but i enjoy the hobby regardless.
