With the exception of the two easiest to replace items, everything in the kit is of excellent quality for the beginner-to-intermediate rockhound. The only things I purchased to "upgrade" what came in the kit were the gloves and the goggles, but that's really no big deal. The hammer, chisels, shovel, etc., were of impressive quality.One of my favorite aspects (other than price and quality) is that the bag is large enough to add things that you may want with you that didn't come in the kit. For example, I've added a scoop sifter and a squirt bottle with plenty of room remaining.In other words, for beginning to intermediate rockolhounds, this kit is close to perfect.

I examined everything inside this bag. It was a Christmas gift for my nephew who is 12. He loves collecting minerals.

Definitely not a kit for a professional archaeologist or geologist but a very together kit nonetheless, it was a great time on our weekend adventures and definitely was worth the purchase price. I wish the hammer was a higher quality.

I bought this for my wife to use at Crater of Diamonds. We didn't find a diamond but I did find a pretty little chunk of quartz. If anything, we we over- equipped, but she really liked going into her bag for chisels, shovel, sample bags and everything she needed. It was a fun day and this kit made it better.

Bought this for my 15 yr old grandson. He is very happy with the quality of the tools and all the items that came with the kit. The carrying case appears well made & heavy duty. A great investment!

Chisels and hammer are great, shovel on the other hand is pretty flimsy. Recommend getting a better shovel. Harbor freight has a non foldable shovel for 8.99

I had an issue with the rock hammer I recieved being gouged by the chisels. INCLY was fantastic, just asked for a photo of the damage and shipped me a new hammer very quickly.The product is solid and like I said the canvas bag is worth the price tag alone!A perfect choice for a rockhound beginner.

This kit appears to be pretty good and has most of everything you’ll need some of it is a lil cheap but it works so for the price I can’t complain
