This fit my 1985 Jeep CJ perfectly. The Jeep has a newer brass radiator that is the correct/stock size.

I installed a new radiator on my truck and wanted a new cap to go with it just to avoid any issue. This standard cap fit perfect and has held up with no issues for almost 1000 miles now. Well worth the few bucks for the peace of mind.

I had all new hosed and belts and water pump so it only made sense to replace the cap

A radiator cap is a fairly important, yet simple part. It's purpose is two-fold, really. One, it seals off the radiator and doesn't allow coolant to escape unless design pressure is reached. In this case, 16PSI. It works well with no problems. Replacement for my old one with hardened seals.

The original one was 20 years old. I replaced thermostat and radiator. Cap is good as new.

Used it on my 94 ford ranger 4.0 and it just misses coolant, enough to completely drain my overflow tank.
