Out of the three I ordered one was completely broken and another was damaged. They also break very easily. Sad.

I use this with a long string and fake / toy mouse on the end of the alligator clips. Allows me to have the cat chase the mouse all over the couch and around the coffee table. Durable enough to withstand a 8 lb playful kitty biting and swiping at his favorite toy. Then telescopes into a nice small pen size object that fits easily in the draw.

We use it as an extender for the gate access card to scan to open the community gates. It's working brilliantly. No longer need to maneuver the car along the tricky turn where the access card scanner is located, no longer need to pull up really really close to the scanner, and no longer need to get my entire arm wet if it's raining. Should've bought something like this 10 years ago.

The alligator clip is not really secure and broke off completely on the first use also the extender is not durable, seems so easy to bend out of place
