I’ve had this tank bag over a year now, and let me tell you it’s worth every penny. It stays dry, even in a pounding rain, even if you don’t use the awesome waterproof liner that it comes with. I’ve had this mounted on my Africa, Twin, my DR650, and now on my wife’s 390 Adventure. It provides great storage on bikes that already don’t have much storage, such as dual sports and small ADV bikes. It was a little too big for me on the Africa Twin because the tank comes up so high, but just the right size on the other bikes!

This tank bag is super high quality, as you would expect both from Giant Loop and for the price. I previously had the Nelson Rigg Trails End Adventure tank bag, which I liked just fine but it had three flaws compared to this one. First, the Nelson Rigg had an expandable section. This doesn't seem like a bad thing except that the expansion made it VERY big and when you weren't using the expansion, all the material for it was crammed into the inside of the bag and it got in the way. The Fandango does not have any expansion and it is more rigid so it holds it's shape better. The Nelson Rigg is not waterproof or even water resistant. It comes with a cover like many tank bags. I never used it because I didn't like to carry it. My wet stuff is on me, then, for making that choice. The Fandango is essentially waterproof except that the zipper leaves a tiny gap when closed and there is the cord access hole. No cover necessary. It's always ready for anything. The last thing was the kicker. Note in the picture how on the Fandango the straps go all the way under the bag. The whole bottom mounting surface is extremely tough. On the Nelson Rigg, the side straps are only sewn under one set of stitching. On one of my first long ADV trips I put the bike down and the side strap did not survive. It was just a muddy trail and I was picking my way down, but when I fell over the bike, it pulled the strap right out of it's stitching. The Fandango would have easily survived that fall. Now it's not fair to compare tank bags at very different price points, but this might be helpful for someone to know what the (fairly significant) extra cost for the Fandango will get them. I had the Nelson Rigg for over a year before I wrecked it with hard service and in that time I never felt unsatisfied with it. Now I just need something tougher and ready for more adverse conditions.

Outstanding workmanship well thought out design, and very durable. Fits my 2023 KTM 1290 Adv bike perfect. I really like the unzip, flip on side, and fill with gas. So easy!

This is the easiest tank bag to use by far. Just unzip one side and the back and lay it over to get at the fuel cap. I have a 700 Tenere and it fit perfect. I took it on a 3200 mile trip to AK and it worked flawlessly. GET ONE!

Purchased for a BDR trip on my '22 BMW R1250GS. Needed a tank bag that was "smallish" and at 6 liters the Diablo was about right, plus I figured the map pocket was a bonus.Fit: I was a little unsure of the overall fit due to lack of pics of this bike on their website or generally on the web. The shape seemed like perfect for a GS tank and knowing I could return to Amazon if it didn't fit, I figured what the heck. Fit was near perfect for a 'generic' tank bag which fits a lot of different bikes. Once in place it moves around a little if you grab it and move it, but while riding on or off road it was solid.Access to fuel cap was fine (a little tight, but totally doable) with the bag 2/3 unzipped for access. 4 starsSize: Perfect for me. GoPro; Sunglasses, cleaning cloth & spray, iPhone, ear plugs, cap, and lots of other misc I like to have instant access to fit great. 5 starsStanding while riding: No Problem. Never noticed it after days and days of riding standing on the pegs, shifting weight and moving about. Perfect - 5 stars.Map Pocket: Phone would overheat in map pocket as GL suggests in their description. I would not plan on using my phone through the pocket. Too much sunlight and not enough ventilation. I also tried to wrestle the BDR map into the pocket and once in place it was fine, but rear access zipper to map pocket is smaller than the pocket itself requiring some wrestling to get the maximum map size into the pocket. 4 stars.BUT...and here's the but, If you are putting this on a GS, it will almost certainly damage paint/tank/graphics. The back of the mounting harness is just vinyl with no soft felt or foam to protect the tank. My trip was a little dusty/dirty but not bad at all, yet the mounting straps and harness did mark up the bikes paint and decals (see pics).GL suggests buying their paint protecting adhesive clear plastic but I was short on time prior to departure. I'm also NOT a fan of 'sticking' or adhering something to my tank and I don't use a tank bag except when on long road trips. I'm a little bummed about the permanent damage to the tank/graphics but I should've done more to protect them. About half way through the trip, I loosened the harness to find the marks and placed some small micro cloth towels to prevent more marring. Before next use, I will find/make some kind of felt or fabric which I can adhere to the bottom of the GL Diablo 'harness' and straps prevent further damage. GL could do better here, I think, which is the reason for 4 stars overall.

I have used this tank bag for about two years and 15K miles on my Triumph Tiger. It was a good purchase. Been in some downpours for long stretches. No leaks whatsoever. I can run a DIN cord from the triple tree up and into the bag. I run a phone cord up and out through the front of the bag. I even drilled a couple of holes in the left side of the bag to accommodate an SAE plug in and an on/off switch that I use. Size for me and what I use it for is great. Stupid easy to unzip for fueling the bike. Very satisfied.

Bag does what you see on the online reviews and fits nicely on my tank while leaving room for me to access the fuel cap. Install was easy but seeing it on the bike now I really feel this bag is twice the price it should be. I know GL products are good quality but value for dollar I just think they need a cheape price point for the size.

Fits well on my XR650L with the sloped design but I wish it was a bit bigger.
