I ordered this as a foot rest for my wife to use as she is learning how to play guitar. It is quite easy to set up. It is also comfortable, surdy, and strong. I like that it has adjustable placements on it so that you can customize the height for your own liking and needs. Also, the size of the foot rest is great as it isn't too big so as to be large and clunky, but is able to support feet of nearly all sizes. Great product.

Got this for my wife to relieve back pain while practicing. It does the trick as far as improving her posture but she reports it wobbles easily and scoots away while she's playing, so she has to pin it against something, like her desk.We like the adjustable height, there's 6 notches you can try, and the price is certainly low, but we now think a heavier one with larger rubberized feet would be better. If the cross pieces were wider, that would improve the stability too.Of course any of those changes would increase the cost and reduce the transportability, so if those factors are more important to you, then this could be a good solution. If you practice on carpet then the scooting away issue might not be present either.I was going to rate this 3 stars because it is so basic but I'd say it's a fair deal and it gave us a chance to see if a foot rest would help out without investing much, so I bumped it to 4.

This foot stand is perfect for me to use for playing classical guitar. It folds flat easily for storage and is easy to setup and stays in-place. It is stable for use and even tollerates a bit of me rocking my foot back and forth. Construction and materials are of good quality and it gets the job done.

I have been slowly playing more classical music on my guitar, and it isn't very comfortable unless I have a foot rest. I got this to try, and I am glad I did. This foot rest has a few steps of adjustability, and the construction is light but durable. It folds up very flat, so it can be easily transported. It has a nice rubber grip on top to keep your foot from sliding, and the metal it is made of seems strong and light. The multiple height adjustability makes it so anybody can use this foot rest easily. This is almost a necessity for anybody who plays classical guitar.

This is a fabulous foot rest! It is made of very strong metal, yet it is very lightweight to carry. It has six adjustable settings. The fact that it tilts so that your toes are higher than your heel makes it nicely ergonomic. The feet are covered by thick rubber end caps to protect the floor as well as to prevent slipping or any contact noises with the floor. The surface of the foot platform has a layer of hard, tough, textured, non-slip rubber or plastic material thoroughly riveted onto it at 8 different spots. Talk about conscientiousness! The entire thing folds down to about 11.5" x 5.5" x 3.4", making it very easy to pop into a backpack. And even though it is made of very strong materials, it is still very lightweight to carry...maybe about 1 lb.! It doesn't click closed, so I will probably use a velcro strap to keep it closed inside my gear bag. I'll probably also find a fabric sack to store it in to prevent it from getting scratched as well as to prevent cables, etc. from getting entangled with it inside my gear bag. This is a great foot rest!

It is made of black metal, folds open and closed (scissor type base with rubber feet), and has a textured plastic top to help with non-slip. It is adjustable, but the angle and height adjustment are not independent of one another. This makes adjusting the angle and height limited. You cannot adjust the angle separate from the height, which poses a problem if you're looking for a different angle/height combination depending on the chair you are sitting on. There are preset grooves that the bar slips into to adjust the height. It doesn't collapse if you rest your foot on it, but if you pick it up to move it, it can slip out of the height position rather easily and collapse. From the heel position, it adjusts from 4 inches to 8 inches off the ground. You can store it by folding it flat, which would make it easy to transport if you're playing gigs. It is functional, but has limitations in terms of angle and height adjustments. Inexpensive, priced at $12.99.

This foot rest has really upped my guitar playing game. I used to get sore muscles from playing after a bit but I thought that was just part of the deal. Until I found this. It alleviates all the pressure and now I can go at it twice as long. Love it!Well made. Flexible. I ordered this foot stool as I play bass and classical guitar but I suffer with muscular problems and thought this might make playing easier and more comfortable.The foot stool feels durable and is well designed, there are 6 adjustment positions which are easy to set up, there are rubber feet on the legs and the foot stool itself is non slip, so you can use it on wooden floors or tiles. The rubber doesn't leave any marks either.Although it feels sturdy it isn't too heavy so you can pick it up and use it in different rooms or take it out if you play elsewhere, I prefer it on the lower rungs but I am only 5"2 so that suits my short legs perfectly!At under £10 this is a great accessory and I have now started using it every time I play. Good value for money in my opinion given the quality, and something I am happy to recommend.

I regularly use a foot rest as I play classical guitar and, for classical guitar, that is pretty much the norm. The footrest I previously used had finally given up the ghost after many years so is this any better? Well no - it's a foot rest short of being disastrous there really isn't much that can go wrong.In use it feels stable; a little wobbly in the highest position but it has a wide range of adjustment so that is perhaps inevitable. Like all such rests it folds flat and has a rubberised top. The only oddity is that unlike most rests which simply glue the grip to the top of the rest this version has them pop rivetted together. I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse but it is a difference. The grip is more likely to break around the rivets but less likely to come off the rest. That is something that only time will tell.Recommended, but at this price don't expect too much.

Strong, sturdy and a great footrest. A musicians friend and I have found this a super calf/ quad saviour while playing sitting down.The footrest is adjustable and lightweight. A great find and recommend to others.

A fantastic foot stool whilst sitting and playing your guitar, mine just happens to be an Electric Jazz bass guitar which is slightly heavier than the P bass but with a thinner neck reducing hand cramps. The stand folds and fits perfectly in my travel bag, its super easy to use light weight and perfectly functional. Brilliant product.

It came in a small flat package, much smaller than I expected, however in use, I find the size to be perfect. The height is adjustable, and it also has a tilt towards you which makes it more comfortable to use. It is lightweight and not strong although perfect for its use, there is a none slip top to stop your foot sliding off too.A simple but effective tool for any ‘sat down’ guitarist.
