This is the third set of these we have purchased. We really like them. Perfect size, easy to adjust the grind, and just the right size for the counter or table. We keep mixed peppercorns in one, and Himalayan pink salt in the other. We use them daily and that's how we wore out 2 sets of these grinders. The ceramic grinding mechanism holds up fine. The plastic in the lids that holds the mechanism actually wore through! This vendor sells this product for less than others selling the identical product. Good value!

I bought these grinders for assault and pepper and so far I'm very happy with them. Being able to adjust the grain sizes for different meals is great and I really love it. I do find that one of the adjusters in one of the grinders sticks quite a bit. So once you get it adjusted it kind of stays there until you unscrew it all the way and screw it back again. Just be aware of that. The other grander you can adjust it any way you want and it works just fine so it might just be a flaw in that one and the minor one of that. Turning the grinder is very smooth and effortless so if you have arthritis these will not be an issue for you whatsoever. I'm very pleased with them.

I smoke peppercorns and salt and needed separate grinders for them and these are perfect. They aren't too big nor cumbersome. Adjusting the coarseness is incredibly easy to do. If I needed to add more grinders to my cabinet, I would come back for more of these. The price was perfect for my budget.

I like that it works and I can adjust grinder. If I move the adjuster like an eighth or sixteenth of an inch—some substantial distance—there is a difference in coarseness. I’ve ground about two cups of sea salt in it and am quite happy with the result. It took me a few days while watching tv. I’d shook, turned upside down, and gently tapped the grinder in order to shake salt when it paused grinding (ie shifted salt inside to facilitate grinding); worked like a charm. Because I’m in a humid climate, and the sea salt is genuine, I dried the salt per Internet instructions, before grinding. Stored the grinder in a sealed plastic bag between grinding sessions to help keep it “dryâ€. Have finished grinding so washed and dried thoroughly. Used the diagram on the box to know how to put it back together. BE CAREFUL not to lose small parts; I accounted for, searched, and found the tiny gasket inside the sink disposal unit—thank goodness, before running the disposal!

Bought for the obvious utility. Functional, easy to use, cheap.... and breakable.One of the included photos shows the grinder mechanism and all its ceramic/metal parts! Cool, right? But it doesn't show you what that mechanism is attached to, which is three plastic prongs with very little lateral support. Twist against the plastic supports by, oh, I dunno, grinding salt/pepper? They snap.Not right away. For the cost? The value is there. But they WILL snap eventually.... which is a bit of a bummer. Enough that I won't be re-purchasing, but not enough that I regret the initial purchase.

After few days of usage. Some round rubber type of thing fell off from the cap and then the crushing isn't happen. It just rotates like a free wheel.

Pepper grinder was not functional. Flimsy blades did not coarsely grind the pepper corns. This was second attempt to finding a better product. Very disappointed with quality!Item was returned!
