I love this quilt ruler grip. I like to use the larger quilt rulers. This makes it really easy to cut the fabric without the ruler slipping. it is also much easier to lift the ruler which prevents the material from shifting as I move the ruler around.

To be honest, i saw one of my quilting idols--Jacquie Gering--using this in a video. I went to look at it and read the reviews and decided to take a chance and get it. Am I glad I did! This thing is fantastic! For the first time, nothing shifts when I cut fabric! It suctions to the ruler, you keep your hand on it as you rotary cut fabric, and you can even lift it (attached to the ruler) to rotate, and your fabric stays on the mat! It works on large square and rectangular rulers. I love it so much I even ordered the one for smaller templates! Order it; you can't go wrong! :)

The idea about this product and how it works is great. I purchased it when I sliced my finger on the rotary cutter when I was measuring and cutting. I received it in a timely manner and well packaged. Unfortunately this is way too big for me, I have very small hands I returned it. I find no fault with this product at all and I’m sure it will work for somebody else but it just did not work for me. If it had worked then I would highly recommended it for any size hand . I still recommend it I’m sure it will work great for other people just not for me.

This will take getting used to, mainly because it can only be used on my large ruler. I avoid using said ruler because it's very awkward due to me being small with a short reach. This does hold the ruler steady, but not well enough the ruler doesn't start slipping. Maybe it's due to the ruler not having any sticky or rough texture that prevents it from slide while cutting? I also have small hands, and this grip is rather large, so again, may just be me.Zero issues with suction after I got the parts damp. That's something I think few people may be aware of. For suction cups to work well, they need to be damp first. Dip you finger I water, rub it over the cup, lay it in the ruler, activate the suction, and voila, it sticks. I had to use a coin to break the vacuum seal so I could get this off and put my ruler away.

We bought this after my accident with my hand. I wish I had this before. I was using ruler and rotary cutter. The cutter jumped the ruler and sliced the top corner of my finger and half my nail off completely. I've used this handle a few days and having my hand above the blade makes me feel better. That is pain I don't ever want to experience again. Accidents happen so get one of these so you don't end up like me.

I suppose I had seen these at one time but had forgotten about them. I've put adhesive circles on the backs of my cutting rulers but still have had a problem keeping them in place. The Gripper not only gives you great hold but, I think you relax your grip somewhat so your grip is firm but not a death grip. In just using the Gripper for one afternoon, I feel a lot more confident about cutting fabric and getting accurate and clean cuts. Thank you so much to whoever invented the Gypsy Gripper. When you're a novice quilter, every help is a step forward in confidence and enjoyment.

After I purchased the Gypsy Gripper, I started looking at the comments. Three people said they bought theirs at Harbor Freight for much cheaper. I went to Harbor Freight and paid $6.49 plus tax. I compared both of them side to side. It is the exact same thing as the Gypsy Gripper except it is blue and white. And the suction cups on the Gypsy Gripper are about 1/8 of an inch larger that the Harbor Freight one. The plastic box on the gripper from Harbor Freight says Super Grip Suction Mount Handle. But if you go online to Harbor Freight and type in Bath Safety Grip , it will come up as Bath Safety Grip Handle. I am sending the Gypsy Gripper back. Much cheaper than what I paid on Amazon and exactly the same thing but different color. I can live with that....LOL

Das Gerät ist sehr handlich und praktisch. Durch die 2 Saugnäpfe haftet es sehr gut am Lineal, man kann es auch ganz einfach über 2 kleine Hebel nachjustieren, falls es sich vom Lineal löst. Aufgrund seiner Grösse vor allem für ca. 60 cm Lineal geeignet. Man kann damit das Lineal anheben ohne dass der Stoff verrutscht

This has a good hand hold and suction pads. I usually struggle to keep the pressure on my large ruler when cutting a long piece of fabric and my hand inevitably slips. Hopefully this is going to make all the difference to the accuracy of my cutting. Wish I had realised they did smaller ones, as I may have ordered one of those too.

This gripper sticks very well and does make cutting pieces much easier. It seems sturdier and keeps the grip. It looks like it will last. I've sewn for many years and just discovered this helpful tool to ease the hand strain when cutting. Good quality.

Even pressure along long quilting rulers. Helps with accuracy by minimising that slide, when curing long pieces of fabric and keeps fingers well out of the way

Having arthritis in my hands affects holding the ruler when cutting. This gem is large enough so my hand isn't cramped or as painful to hold it. Will shop from seller again as it was shipped fast.
