I've had these for 5 months now. As some have said they are an easy grip... but just hold your grip closed longer; or do many quick squeezes. These can be a good long term use all the more so because they are easy, it just depends on how you use them. Thanks to these the 200ib grips are pretty easy. Now for the truly negligible down sides.1: may get squeaky if you do quick squeezes.2: it's tempting to pick the foam near the top of the handle, and its all down hill from there. The handles hold up well, but only if you resist the urge to pick at the foam.side note: I enjoy holding my grip closed and shaking them to make the metal rings go "ting ting"

I bought this so I could strengthen my hands for rock climbing. I like that it comes in two different tension levels. The grip is comfortable and my hand doesn't get sore, from the grip, after using it for 20-30 minutes.I don't know what some people are talking about when they say it's too easy. If that's the case, use the higher tension level one for more than a few squeezes.I'm using the weaker one to start and after significant use of 20-30 minutes my hand, wrist and forearm feel it.For clarification, I'm white guy in my 30's with good all-around strength. The ONLY downside is that it squeaks. Specifically, the grip squeaks and that can be annoying for some people. It doesn't bother me too much but when I'm at work the squeaks are undesirable because everyone else has to hear it. Thats why I give 4 stars. It squeaks during use.
