I purchased with the intention of knocking out the glass in the filter and adding my own clear mrc. I am going to hold off. Looks great, OEM Cap fits, does not leave a shadow with a flash. Oh yea, fantastic price.Update: I noticed the filter was lose. I was able to remove it pretty easily.Update 2: I removed the filter and added my own 52mm B+W clear filter on the front. I also purchased Haoge Cap-X54B Metal Lens Cap for Fujifilm Fuji X100V Camera Accessories Black, which fits perfectly.

Really liked the fact that its a one piece solution instead of two. Also, I changed the glass it came with for my blackmist filter glass.Only problem is that through the viewfinder you'll see a bit of the hood. Not a big issue but could be distracting

This lens hood feels like it came with original box as it fits with the aesthetic of the camera (Fujifilm X100VI). It doesn't stick out as much as other square or vented hoods. Comes with its own lens cap I can use as a spare. It's already protected the main lens more than once while the cameria is hanging on a next strap or in a bag. Love the texture of the outer ring.

I used this to replace the lens caps I’m always losing. It looks great on my X100T, does not interfere with autofocus and helps protect the lens from dirt, moisture and scratches. It’s a good deal.

I originally bought this so I can still use the default Fuji lens cap that my x100vi comes with. It solved that problem but it brought up some problems. When using your camera flash, the adapter hood casts a shadow in your images. Also just to note, the thread size is 52mm.Great for protection and being able to use OEM lens capNot so great if you plan to use your on camera flash

I was looking for a decent lens hood for my X100V that would complement the style and aesthetic of the camera without compromising functionality. The hood itself is solid metal, and has a nice grip pattern than matches the pattern on the camera dials. The built in UV filter seems to be of good quality, I don't see any noticeable affects on my images, so I'll leave it place for now.I mostly use optical mode when using the viewfinder, and found some hoods block out too much of the visible area. this one is only a little bit more visible in the viewfinder than the lens itself is. Other hoods just didn't have a good aesthetic appeal for me.One of the fun things about owning an X100 camera is all the ways you can customize the body to fit your own personal style. I wanted to get this hood in silver to match my camera's body, but that color was out of stock. I decided to step out of the box a bit and just go for this red one instead. It actually turned out to be a nice compliment to my red soft release button and wrist strap.

The hood works great and feels solid and reliable. However it does block some light when using the built in flash on close subjects.

El color es igual al de la cámara; no se nota que fuera un accesorio más. La nitidez y calidad de la imagen no se degrada en lo absoluto, y al contrario, la protege contra elementos externos.Lo único a considerar es que agrega quizá unos 2 cm más al frente, lo cual para mà es Ãnfimo, aunque sà que esos 2 cm se notan más al usar el OVF. Pero realmente sin el parasol aún asà se nota el lente integrado de la cámara asà que no le hace daño que se note un poco más.¡Muy buen producto! Te da más confianza a la hora de usar la cámara.
