Easier to use than a screw based cutter. No stopping to tighten. Just slip over the pipe and start turning(arrow direction). Use included deburring tool and you’ll be done. I don’t think I’ll ever have a use for the 1” cutter but it was cheaper to buy the set than it was to buy the 1/2 and 3/4 separate. Plus the case is nice. Super durable and they have some weight to them when in the palm of your hand. Perfect addition to any handyman’s plumbing box.

Solid material used to construct a find quality item. With much use at work as a journeyman pipefitter, this item maintains high performance on a 10 hour shift each day of the week. With that being said, thoroughly satisfied with the over all rigidity.

Very good close quarters copper cutters. 1/2 and 3/4 are easier to start the 1 inch is tough to lock on and rotate the initial 1st turn but gets easier till pipe is cut. I’ve had other name brands of these cutters that cost more and are no better. These cutters are heavier built and as a plumber if 30 plus years I can highly recommend this set for close quarter cutting.

Hard to get a grip on the pipe, to much cleanup had to use a dremel to remove the flair.

Worked great in tight space! I did not have to keep tightening the wheel every one or two revolutions it automatically tightens so you just keep spinning it. Which is great in a tight space.
