Worked perfect for cutting rubber water lines for diecast injection tools. Very easy to change out the blade once dull. Doesn't come with a spare blade though.

I utilize these for cutting nylon & poly-urethane hoses at work. They're great! I really like the lock button location. Makes it easy to open/close them with one hand when I'm in a tight spot & can't have them open, but know I'm still going to need them again.

My company makes all kinds of rubber hoses that are used for air, gas, water, liquids. The dimensions are up to 1â€.This tool is very light and spring loaded. It’s designed to cut hard plastic called “pex†so the life span of the blade is 5 times longer for my use. So happy with this product.

The blade on this model is exposed in the closed position! There was a great review that mentioned cutting a finger as a result. There's another model, possible a replacement, that may have addressed this. If you can deal with an exposed blade, these are awesome. No play, cut through pex like it's paper. There are plenty of lesser prices products but they definitely feel like lesser products. If you want quality, this is the tool. Had to remove a star for the blade issue.

Very sharp, makes a nice clean cut in PEX tubing. Easy to use. Locks closed when not in use.

Well this is not a pro tool by any stretch. Hard to cut pipe makes crooked cut and you need a robot arm to actually use it. My 15$ hd one is way better.

This thing is solid and it appears to have a removable blade, which I assume can probably be sharpened or replaced entirely. There’s no play or jiggling in the blade or handles like you get with cheaper cutters and it gives nice clean cuts. It’ll also do the “liquid tight†type metal kopex, which is what I got it for. Don’t think of try it on covered steel kopex though, you’ll fail miserably, that much should be obvious.It’s a little expeno, but miles better than the cheaper counterparts.
