and docks, securing vineyard trellises, Large storage sheds, retaining
walls, radio antennas, small windmills, Long Hop runs All eye anchors are
manufactured from steel that conforms to ASTM A-36 M1020 standards. Holding
strength is based on clay soils which are of hard to medium density. The
holding strength is reduced in softer less dense soils and sandy soils. To
ensure maximum holding strength, anchor must be installed to full depth
with the bottom of eyelet at ground level. Anchor eyelets are always weld
closed, eyelets can be left open upon request of the customer. Can be
installed by hand in softer soils with a "installation bar" harder soils
may need power installation equipment 12,000 lb+ pull out resistance in
Hard Pan soils- less in less dense soils MADE in the USA Specifications:

I used this screw anchor for a mooring for my pontoon. It was heavy duty enough to hold the pontoon in place even after some high winds.

We used a 10’ pipe with a 3/4 diameter to put through the eyelet on the mooring screw to “drill†into the riverbed. It took about 20 minutes for two people to install. Works great as a mooring point.

It arrived as promised. The pointed end had poked through it’s packaging. I thought shipping moneys were a lot. (Free shipping was not available)I found the helical anchor to have been assembled with formidable steel and was welded acceptable.I found the galvanization to be thin to not existent in spots. With surface rust having already started. I was planing on using it in gulf salt waters, so I spray painted it before installation with hopes it may stave off rusting through for a day or two.Won’t know how it works out until it has been under water for a time.A stainless steel version of this product was available until I went to buy it.

We bought 2 to anchor. Works amazingly! Surprisingly heavy and large but it was exactly what we needed for the job! Totally recommend!
