Well made parts for a wooden swing set. The leg brackets are cast aluminum with what appears to be a powder coat finish. They are very solid and won’t rust. It is set up for 4x4 legs and a 4 x 6 crosspiece, the downside is they do not give you a length for the legs or cross piece. They provide all the lag bolts needed for assembly which is nice as there are a lot of them. The swing mounts are also a powder coated aluminum casting and have sealed ball bearings for the pivot. They provide the lag bolts for these as well, however I will be replacing them with bolts all the way thru the 4 x 6 crosspiece. The chains are chrome plated with a rubber coating on the seat end for better grip. The seats are well made and have reinforcing at the hanging holes. This looks like it will stand up to any kind of weather.

After our previous fabric swing seat broke, we decided to upgrade. The installation was straightforward, thanks to the well-sized coated brackets that fit on standard 4x4 and 4x6 beams. The chains are also coated to protect little fingers from pinching and the weather elements.I'm confident this swing set will last for many years, likely until my youngest outgrows it. This hardware set looks to be very well made. The welding seams on the two brackets appear to be very strong. I got this to build an outside frame for my aerial yoga rig. And when I'm not using that, I can hang a hammock chair. It's a little cold right now to be building outside, so when spring hits, I'll get cracking. I'm going to go with an 8' piece for the top 4x6 beam and 10' pieces for the 4x4 legs. Using 10' pieces for the legs should give me a height of about 9' which will be perfect for my rig (using 8' legs would be too short).

When they say "heavy duty" they mean it!Solid construction, thick metal brackets, smooth bearings... if I was going to build a swing set for my car... this might work.Well, maybe not a car, but it would support a goat on a motorcycle. Who doesn't want to see that?The brackets are sized well for the 4x6 crossbar and the 4x4 legs and the included lag bolts work great.The swivels rotate really smoothly and I suspect they will last for a long time. Seats are thick and should hold up for a while. I might make wood seats to keep with the rustic look of the cabin.A nice touch is the coated chains. No pinched fingers or extra cold metal when you hang on.In all this is a great set. All of the parts are great quality and should last a lifetime.

This set is heavy duty! It is the metal brackets, hinges, chains, and seats only. Meant to be assembled on a larger playset or swings alone. The swings could even be attached without the brackets on a tree limb. The seats are large enough for a resonably sized adult to sit in.

Made of cheap metal, about 1/8" cast iron. Broke when i hit it with the rubber mallet
