Love the quick release, the even distribution of pressure, ease of use, ease of removal of prongs, and how it stops pulling and keeps my cheeky dog from lunging forward.Fits a size neck of 16" perfectly with an extra link or so; that's my only quam. I just wish you didn't have to purchase extra links for like five bucks a piece... SMH! But with quality comes that draw back. Works beautifully, and is lightweight, as long as you have it properly sized, high &, snug.Make sure it sits right behind the ears. I made that mistake and it was too loose the collar did not work as well, Lesson learned!So comfortable that my dog doesn't mind.

Hi y’all! This is my second purchase of this collar for my little fur dragon. I recently adopted a dog who loves pulling on her leash and after 30 minutes of this she has learned to heal and sit when I stop. This is supposed to be a training tool, and we have not yet graduated to life without this collar. I often recommend this to my friends or others trying to train a dog because it works so well and so fast. It was recommended to me by my sister-in-law who also loves it.PROSEasy to take off (get the quick release on... sisters-in-law has both versions and says the quick release is so much easier)Dogs learn super fast on this. I have personally used this on two dogs and it’s a life changer.Does not bother a certain fluffy creature who demands all your time and loveFairly priced product for how well it worksCONSA nightmare to figure out when first attaching. I finally found a YouTube video to help me and then it was easy. Takes no time now. But make your dog sit while attaching this and it will make your life easier.Dog can sometimes yelp if you are over enthusiastic on how hard you pull (be aware of your strength) although this will NOT hurt the dog if used responsibly despite looking like a medieval torture device. Watch a YouTube tutorial on how to first introduce your dog to this. It really helped!Can get tangled up in itself when off the dog (just make sure you lay it flat so it’s ready to go next time)CONCLUSIONNone of the cons are deal breakers for me. With the right technique, the prong can be an extremely valuable tool in setting a strong foundation of trust and leash manners with your dog.Coming back to the quality, Herm Sprenger is probably one of the best bets when it comes to safety as well as make. There are many cheap Chinese models and knockoffs of the same, please stay away from them!

Best Training collar on the market I have used sprenger collars on all my dogs, 3 shepherds and a Pompsky. My dogs attitude changes as soon as collar is own, I don’t even have to snap anymore as dog behaves when collar is on.
