The wedge bolt in this is poorly designed so that you have to over tighten the collet to expand the head even a couple of thousandths. Might work for light cutting but for anything even remotely substantial I would be concerned about losing your workpiece.

The range is listed as .250-.468, however the center hole for the expanding screw is .207 so to machine it down to .250 would leave wall thickness of about .0215, so I doubt if you can even turn it down that much given the cutter is going to be hitting on the slots. Maybe a better machinist than I could, which isn't saying a lot. So it won't work for me and I have not tried it so the three stars is just trying to be neutral. It might work great for closer to .5 through hole.
