Its working great in my 2002 S-10. I do have to say though, you can definitely hear it spinning which makes me think the bearings within aren't the greatest.

This was a perfect fit for the chevy s10 4.3L Quality part with outstanding cap and rotor button and sensor already installed. Don't have a longevity review but must say was very impressed with build and quality of the part.

Edit: 5 days after installing and writing a great review below this thing left me stranded on the highway. Had to get towed to my mechanic. Put the old distributor back in and truck worked fine. Since then replaced the old one with another distributor and everything is working great. So basically it is hit or missSeems like good quality. Only 2nd day of driving after install. More power and more pickup. It's not the new truck response I was hoping for but I got 380K miles on my '97 S10. Not sure if it would ever feel new! It certainly made a very noticeable difference. I probably hadn't changed the last cap/rotor, only, for 100K miles and the cap terminals had a lot of white "corrosion" looked like many hours of spark wear. I definitely recommend this. It did take me much longer than other reviews, 2 hours to do the whole job. Set to Top Dead Center, marked my spark plug wires, removed original cap to mark where the rotor moved to when I pulled it out upon removal. When I went to put the new one it would not drop right in, hit oil pump fitting. I think it rotated when I was removing the original. Then got my "long" screwdriver stuck in the hole and had to use needle nose to remove but I was able to feel the oil pump fitting and rotated it to line up. After that it dropped right in. Fired right up.

The old destructor had a plastic base and it broke. The new one has a metal base and fit perfectly.

had misfire issues on 99 safari, changed out the distributor with this one. All misfire codes are gone. Van running good.Honestly took longer to get doghouse etc off and back on than it took to replace the distributor.Works on 99 Safari 4.3L

I have been a mechanic and a chevy guy for many years and here is my opinion.It's an improvement over an oem part.You can not beat the price, and the quality is good. I would not say excellent but it's good.The copper electrodes in the cap make this cap an improvement over an acdelco part because ac delco now uses aluminum witch does not conduct as well, witch causes problems with the caps.The distributor its self, is made of aluminum, witch is an improvement over the oem, plastic design.Guys dont think twice over buying this product. It's an extremely cheap upgrade

Installed this on a new to me 2001 jimmy 4x4 with 4.3 motor. So far so good 5 months 4000 kms.Update: 1 year later and still working great!

Smooth performance.. keep the bolts from cap though, not same thread as oem.. in future cap renewals
