Hillman 370066 Toggle Bolt, 1/4X3-Inch, 50-Pack

Toggle bolts come with spring-action wings and are intended for anchoring into hollow walls. The wing is designed to spread apart behind the base material upon installation for firm hold in hollow wall applications. The wing disperses the weight of the secured item over a larger area, increasing the weight that can be secured compared to a regular bolt.

Perfect quality for the money. Fifty toggles, fifty bolts, no washers...you may want washers. I had to drill a 1/2" hole to slip the toggle through...expected. Using 5 of them on drywall to hold a 1' X 2' piece of plywood that my 50" insignia tv is mounted on...swivels and extends out two feet and these hold perfectly. No worries.

Quite adequate for the price. I did learn an important lesson, though. The first time I tried to use this, one arm of the toggle would stick up against the bolt, and didn't open when I pushed it into the hole I had made in the drywall. While futzing with it, I unthreaded it a bit too far and the toggle fell down inside the wall.If you thread the toggle onto the bolt a little ways, then manually open and close the toggles a few times before inserting them into the wall, so that the part that sticks is bent enough for both arms to freely open, they work great.

Robuste et bien utile. J'ai compté : cinquante vis et cinquante et un papillons... mais un papillon défectueux. Donc tout est parfait ! Installé dans un mur de gyproc pour tenir une clôture à chien : ça tient le coup.
