Fantastic fitting, just wonder why they held onto it for 2 weeks. It shipped almost overnight after they held onto it. (Shrugs shoulders)

I was helping convert my father-in-law's Weber grill over to a standard tank from the old quick-disconnect style and had the new hose, but the old Genesis had a direct connection to the grill. Enter this fitting, and within 2 minutes we had the grill up and running with the modern hose setup. These fittings are very well made and of high quality. We have a spare now but won't hesitate to buy again should the need arise.

this fitting acts like it was made from aluminum. It is very weak and when tightened to the recommended torque, it continues to leak. When I removed it to reseal the threads, they looked like they had smoothed out. We did not over-tighten, we know how to tighten gas fittings. These are just weak metal

These are nice fittings. They come in a clear plastic latch box with an eyelet, making it ready to hang on a store rack.The threads are not perfectly smooth so it appears that the factory threader needed to be sharpened when mine were made. Teflon tape should keep anything from leaking.The face of the flare has some very minor scratches.Other than that, they seem like well made fittings that will serve their intended purpose.
