This skim board was great for the beach this summer. It arrived in no time and got us skimming among the surf the next day. We waxed it ourselves and it seems like it will last quite a bit. The plywood bonding seems strong and rigid where needed. I love the red and black paint job with the teardrop design. Not too hard to use.

This is a compact skim board. I liked that it was easy to pack in floor of hatchback for beach trip by car. . Great for casual play on vacation for kids snd adults. This is a beginner board, a great new “toyâ€perfect for your next family beach vacation. The board was packaged securely with no damage in transit, arrived in perfect condition.

I haven't gotten to test it in the water yet, but it looks exactly like what you'd expect! I've never had one before so I don't know the difference between a good one and a bad one. This one feels very solid, the paint is all really nice and clear. The wood is all very smooth, it seems like it'll skim across the water pretty well!

Worst experience ever, could not choose ZERO STARS. Bought two skimboards, one for each of our twin sons for Christmas. Received both at the same time, barely in time for Christmas. One was wrapped in cardboard, and the other in a plastic wrap only. We added bows and ribbons and set them by the tree for opening on Christmas Day. Of course, the one wrapped only in a bag was quite damaged, and we had a disappointed child on Christmas Day when the gift was opened to find the damage done in shipping. It was pockmarked and gouged all over the place and the top of the board was actually splintered. The company: MOMCHI, gave us a full refund of the purchase price, but we had to pay The UPS Store $32 in return shipping fees to appropriately package the item for shipment back to MOMCHI that we were never reimbursed for. Will never trust this brand again, I highly discourage anyone from buying from MOMCHI. If you are considering a MOMCHI product, do yourself a favour and remove it from your cart!
