This replaces a broken filter housing that was not see-through. Seeing the water's color and the filter's saturation is a plus. Fit perfectly and is not in service.

Really good quality product. It would be nice if they gave you the spec for the internal threading but otherwise good.

Excellent filter. The only way to get no leakage is to use a 4.28in. Diameter metal wrench with food grade silicone grease. You have to mount it on a base to a wall to tighten. Also you will need silicone gaskets with the lead free adapters. I put them throughout my apartment . Can use most standard 10 inch filters. Works excellent as a shower filter as well.
