I bought three along with three mounting brackets for kitchen carbon block filtered water to feed ice makers and drinking water taps. Because contact time is important with carbon block filters, and because they also clobber water pressure at the tap, and because the under-cabinet space kinda said "no way" to taller housings, I set them up to run water through the three cans in parallel to deal with all three problems.I finally tried to install these this week. I give up and I'm throwing them away. I CANNOT get the female threaded ports to seal with brass barbed/MPT fittings. They drip. Fix it and they drip later. I even tried teflon tape, normally a no-no for plastic threads. Used Rectorseal pipe dope. Nope. Finally, even ABS cement, pretty much a desperation move. Nope.They do look good, but it's all show no go. Since it's too late to return these (now mangled by me) pieces of junk, into the trash.

I bought three of these to build a water purification system. They seal perfectly and work as expected. I can clearly see the condition of my filters through the housing and no leaks!Buy them, they work!
