The 1/2" NPT housings can withstand temperatures up to a maximum of 160°F (71°C) while 3/4" housings can withstand temperatures up to 165°F (74°C). Excellent chemical compatibility makes High Temperature Housings an ideal choice for a wide variety of industrial applications including those involving organic solvents, sea water, alcohol, petroleum and vegetable oils. They should not be used with ketones. Both 10" and 20" lengths are available to accommodate flow rates up to 20 gpm (76 Lpm).

The filter housing was relatively simple to install on the output side of my hot water storage tank and seems to have reduced or eliminated the accumulation of scale in my kitchen and bathroom faucet aeration devices. I would suggest that in addition to the filter element, O-ring and filter wrench shown as additional items for purchase, that a pair of 3/4" brass and stainless ball-valves be included enabling easier replacement of the filter element.

Manque de trous filetés dans la tête pour pouvoir supporter le porte filtre lors de l'utilisation de tuyaux style PEX. Le o-ring ne supporte les huiles minérales. Le o-ring gonfle et n'est plus utilisable il perd sa forme. s'il existe un support,celui-ci devrait être vendu avec le support de filtre. Il est difficile de trouver le o-ring de spare , la description du o-ring n'est pas claire, il ne dit pas sur quel support a filtre ils vont. Dans la description du porte filtre il devrait y avoir les pièces de rechanges comme le o-ring etc. Une photo du produit en pièces détachés serait apprécié, pour plus d'information. Merci pour votre compréhension.
