This filters is located in the fuel line of your vehicle and help prevent fuel contaminants, such as dirt and rust particles, from entering the fuel delivery system to help keep the engine running properly. Can capture 98 percent of water contaminants,5 microns,ensure a steady flow of clean, dry diesel fuel for optimal engine performance.
Installation
1.Put a pot under the fuel filter housing,use a 1-7/16” socket wrench to leak some fuel.
2.Unscrew the cap with the old filter,and put them into the pot.
3.Clean the fuel filter housing cap,change the provided 2 O-rings,and change the filter.
4.Screw the combination of the new filter and cap onto the housing with the wrench.
5.Cycle the key to activate the electronic fuel pump in the tank(To prime the system,no need to bleed).Then start it and check for leaks.
6.Reset the fuel filter indicator,press and hold the “select” button until you get a beep,cycle the key,then done.

The filter came with the 2 rubber gaskets needed. Removed the old filter, cleaned the cap and the new one fit in perfectly. I am highly satisfied with the product and will use this company again and again.

With changes required every 15k, I got the four pack and they are great! It is an easy job, just order the 36mm socket for $10. Get a plastic pan to catch the diesel overflow. Be sure to prime it via the start button. You can hear when it is full because it stops filling.
