This package doesn’t include user guide. If you are expecting learning how to make samples from this kit, this is not what you choose. Or you need a sample preparation protocol etc. from somewhere. I should have realized before l purchased but somehow l believed it should include step-by-step user guide and something an educational paper. Probably the product details weren’t wrong but... since the recommended age was 5year+, l thought the kit is good for the people without the knowledge too.I believe some of the people who gave this product 3 stars or less were disappointed about that.

The kit doesn't include any guide on how to use the items in there or any possible projects. I've been googling to try and figure out how to use the powdered dye and exactly how to dye the specimens we use. Very disappointing as my five year old wants to use the microscope and I'm still googling :(

Bought this at local Wally-World. Eye focus piece poorly polished, introduced a LOT of distortion to view. Lens barrels and most important parts are plastic- cheaply made garbage, extremely difficult to focus and use. Basically it's an overpriced toy, nothing more. It was *just* enough to get my 6 year-old son interested, now moving on to something we can actually see things with. No instructions (as others have said), missing a lot of important parts like shrimp protocols, how to use dye, etc. Anybody > 5-6 years of age, this will be a complete waste of money. Spend twice as much, get 10x more. This was a real disappointment... :(

No instructions included. No water prep chemicals, or food for brine shrimp. No instructions on how to use stains, set up slides, etc. No instructions, or user guide at all.
