These were purchased for my tractor tool box. Many times 6" pliers just won't get the job done. I like Irwin tools in other applications, so I decided to try their slip joint pliers. The pliers did not disappoint. I consider them a "top line" home owners' tool. Being in a tractor tool box, they are always subject to being lost or misplaced. If that happens, I will replace them with the same Irwin pliers; and , I can do so without breaking the bank. These pliers are an excellent value and have led to me expanding the line of Irwin tools that are found in my shop and tool boxes.

Omg! I wanted to change the shower in my new apt but the old one was screwed on so ridiculously tight! I tried WD40, vinegar soak, letting the hot water run, adjustable wrench and it would not budge. I bought this as a last resort before calling maintenance. This grips way better than a wrench, and i was able to remove the shower head in 5 seconds with half the force!

For the price I haven't seen a more solid, well constructed set of pliers, I would buy them for the whole fleet, and we used to, but to keep inventory straight we have color coded the trucks. But if you're looking for a solid plier set at a great price, your search ended here. I've purchased these SO MANY times, but not for wear, because they get forgotten and left behind.

Faz tempo eu estava em busca desse alicate especÃfico e o encontrei. Demorou um bom tempinho para chegar, mas, valeu cada centavo. Irwin é outro nÃvel. Me lembro do meu primeiro alicate Irwin que ganhei de presente do meu pai a 20 anos atrás. Está comigo até hoje e nem parece que foi usado. Para hobbystas é um produto eterno. Não desgasta e não deforma. Vejam o pino de junção dos mordentes, parece uma peça única. Não tem roscas ou encaixes. É perfeito. Mais uma útil ferramenta adicionada ao meu arsenal.
