Using for shade cloth in my Northern New Mexico garden. They are good for most uses but not strong enough for the wind and sun of New Mexico or southern Colorado. When the wind comes up (30+ mph) it launches the clips everywhere and the shade cloth is left unsecured.

These were bought to go on a shade screen frame made from 3/4" schedule 40 PVC. Lay the screen over the frame, snap one of these on. Perfect fit, i can stretch the sun screen taut and they firmly hold the screen. These are much, much faster and easier than a zip tie. This is a high wind area, and even in strong gusts, 95% of the clips are holding. Fully reuseable, about 3" long, they add a finished look to the sunscreen project.

I tried to put plastic on 1 inch metal pipes with these and they would not stay in the wind. They are easy to clamp on, but don't hold well in a wind. The size seems to be too big to hold well. They don't function well for my metal poles, maybe they would be better for PVC.

I bought these to secure plastic sheeting to the pvc piping on my low garden tunnels. I knew they’d be slightly too big when ordering, so planned to insert thin strips of styrofoam packing sheets at the center backs, in hopes of getting a snug fit. The simple fix worked and the clamps stay in place.Very pleased, and am ordering more to finish the job on the longer of the tunnels (using six pieces per 10†arched hoop at tunnel ends, and two pieces per hoop in between). I’d use more clamps on the inner hoops, but the plastic is so taut they pop off.Will try to remember to report back in March, after the snowfall and winds of winter in US zone 5b, on whether the clamps held fast. So far, so good, tho, after some rain. Clamps remain in place and hoops are holding their shape.

too weak and thin to hold 6 mil clear plastic on a 1/2" pvc pipe harden cover. Pops right off with the slightest wind. Try the metal, welding type clips. Caused me SO much grief.A waste of good prastic.

These fit perfectly over shade cloth used over 1/2 PVC pipe. We bent the PVC as cloth supports over the raised beds, and these work well even through a windy day. Bought them twice.

Selbst bei Sturm hielt das Vlies, was ich über meine Tomaten damit gespannt hatte, bombenfest! Die Klemmen sind leicht anzubringen und ohne weiteres wieder zu entfernen.Ich kann diese Klemmen nur weiterempfehlen!
