This is a great idea and when adjusted correctly works very well. The only real issue is finding a suitable spot for the suction cup to hold. Of the 4 reels I did, the spooler lost suction 3 times. If you're using monofilament line with any kind of memory, losing suction creates a serious rat's nest at the spool. In all cases and with all lines you do have to attach your reel to a pole with at least one eyelet and If you get the right amount of tension on it, the winding goes quickly and the spooler works very well.

Just what you need to respool your reels by yourself. Takes a little messing with to get the tension right but at least you dont need to interupt your better half to hold the spool for you! If you know what I'm talking about this is just what you need.
