I will say I was surprised at how big the box was. I figured it would be way smaller. You get more than enough materials needed to make the projects.That being said, I'm not new to needle felting but I'm also still learning. This kit isn't for beginners and the instructions are lacking on how to do things. Even the videos to watch really don't tell you how to do the things you need to do.It also takes awhile to do. If you think you are going to do it as an advent project, think again. It took me 3 days to get through day one. It's currently February and I've been working on this kit on and off since the first of December. I'm sure I'll be done for next Christmas.I also don't like how the instruction book isn't the same order as the advent its self so you have to flip through the book and see what everything is to find the first day and it kind of ruins the surprise.

You have got everything you need. There are many needles and also full set of protection tools. Good for beginners!

The instructions would be better if they went in order of day, therefore avoiding any spoilers. Also, the instructions were super vague (such as grab a small amount of wool) so there were some challenges to get things the right size.

I got this for my son who is 12 and learn about needle felting in his art class at middle school and really enjoyed it. This is a super fun set and comes with so many things that you can make, the only concern with it is it really isn't something that you can open only one day at a time. I guess you could, but you wouldn't fully be able to do the stuff until the end. We opened up most of it in one week and he absolutely loved it!

I bought this Christmas Wool Felt Calendar as a gift for my 9-year-old daughter, and let me tell you, it was a hit! The box is pretty big, making it perfect for a gift. My daughter was over the moon when she received it, and I loved that everything she needed was included in the kit. The materials are high-quality, and it has everything from felt pieces to needles, which made the crafting experience a lot more fun and less stressful for us.However, there were a few bumps along the way. First, the order in which you open the calendar doesn't match the instructions, so it’s a bit of a puzzle. We had to refer to the pictures on the product itself to figure out what to do next, which was a little confusing at first.The tutorial video is a nice touch, but it doesn't have any narration—just the visuals. While the video is helpful, it’s not easy for a younger child to follow without some explanation. I ended up assisting my daughter with the more tricky steps. If you're doing this with kids, be prepared to lend a hand.Overall, it’s a really fun craft project, and although we haven't finished it yet, I’m looking forward to doing it with my daughter during the upcoming Thanksgiving break. I think it will be a great way for us to spend time together!

I wasn't expecting this to be quite so large of a package, so I was pleasantly surprised. This is one craft I have been wanting to try, so I was glad to see this kit available to choose. It is well wrapped and packaged so the contents are secure until you take them out. It comes with everything needed to make this little village scene and I am pleased with my choice.UPDATE: I opened this up on the first day of advent so I could keep up with the countdown. Sadly, as a beginner complete "newbie" to this craft, I found myself frustrated at the instructions or lack thereof. This Set is NOT for a new beginner who has never tried this craft. If you are, like me, at least beware. There are no instructions on how to needle felt. There are also no measurements or patterns to help guide a new felter. I had to google how to place the needles into the holder. The videos that they provide links to do very little to help explain either, as they skip a bunch of the actual process of needle felting. One minute you have a bunch of felt and the next scene, the crafter in the video has a complete balloon made. I have no idea how she did it because the video cuts this part out. Also, I am not sure if enough wool is supplied to complete all the balloons even though the box says it is. I have learned there is a core wool that I may seek out to make sure I have enough. I reduced a star because of the lack of instructions and lack of any patterns or measurements. I thought about reducing two stars, but I do like what contents are in the box so far. I like the finger protectors and the felting pad, although I wish the pad was a solid color as it turned my red balloon into a red one with what looked like a little dirt. I finally realized it was the grey wool from the pad getting into the red wool.

This is a fun introduction to Felting. The first day you opened the tools and everything you needed to get started. Then, every day, there was an new item to felt. Some of the items came out better than others. This was because of the skill level of my fellow felters!!!! I love felting and this was a fun way to try new shapes and techniques.
