I purchased this pump, after my Flotec sump pump failed after only 7 months of use. This one seems to fit much better and is quieter. I tested it and it works amazing. Seems to have more power than the Flotec one. Both have the same HP. I'm a girl and I installed it with no problems. The Flotec was a pain in the butt to install. This one took me about 5 minutes. If you are on the fence between this brand and another one, and have a slightly narrow or off size pit like the one in my basement, definitely go with this one.Update: This unit is solid. Has been working 9 mos now without any issues. When it runs, I can't even hear it. Amazing quality product.

My sump hole is about bucket size, with this sump pump I can fit it into the sump with no problem. and it works fantastic. With it being made of plastic, this pump is long lasting and light weight. Went online to Amazon to read the reviews and one comment really caught my eye, the one that said the smallish size was perfect for smaller sump holes. The reviewer was absolutely correct.

This sump pump moves a good volume of water and is relatively quiet. The only issue I encountered was lack of adjustment details in the instructions. The pump would constantly cut on and off. The issue was that the stops on the metal stem were set too close together. Once these were spaced about 6 inches apart the pump operated as it should, pumping water out only when the float reaches a certain hight and shutting off only after the water level has gone below a certain height.

Same horsepower (1/3) as my old pedestal sump pump but takes up less space and is much quieter. Was able to swap it out in about ten minutes with just two standard screwdrivers (small and large). Didn't even have to change any of the plumbing. Bought it mostly to get a more modern switch and float which could not be retrofitted onto my old pump. Happy with it and will use my old pump as an emergency backup if ever needed.

It works well but these don't really stand up well on their own, but they put a ring on the top where you can tie them to something for stability. The only other thing I couldn't figure our was how to lower the bob so it would start draining before the water level gets too high. I tried the instructions but could get it to unscrew it.

Pump works, if I trip the float. Float is not bid enough to flip the stiff switch. I went to Agway and bought a different pump same day
