The Little Giant WRSC-6 Drainosaur Jr. 1/3 HP compact sump pump is ideal for collecting and removing water from laundry trays, lavatory and wet bar sinks, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, water softeners and more. The pre-packaged system comes pre-assembled for easy installation. It comes with a 1/3 HP automatic epoxy-coated cast iron submersible sump pump with thermal overload protection. The polypropylene basin is 3.5 gallons, light weight and corrosion resistant. Removable, easy-to-clean built-in basin filter trap included. Please note the discharge pipe, check valve and union are not included.

I bought this pump as a replacement for an existing pump, it works fine.However being an under sink remodel the existing pump had a mechanical vent. You can NOT use a mechanical vent on this pump! I found this out after I hooked it up. It states this in the owners manual in small print.If it were in the online item description I would have not bought this pump.Good tech support

This has an easy to clean filter to prevent washer lint from gumming up the float. The pipe fittings are threaded and only one electric wire goes through the and it's built into the fitting that you can see pressed in. If it backs up for any reason, and I tested it by unplugging it, the water will fill the sink and not run out all over the floor the way the larger and way less attractive pump basin did.If you need a pump for a below sewage system laundry tub drain, this is a very good idea.A smaller basin will run more often, but I'm very happy with the trade-off.

easy to install, works perfectly, which is what you would expect from the manufacturer, little giant, the first one that I installed, not little giant, failed after four months, strongly recommend this and other little giant products

I like these little beasts of a pump, they are quite and operate with minimal effort, cleaning periodically helps prolong the life.

This pump is in my basement and working well doing its job emptying my clothes washing machine and pumping the water up to the ground floor sewer drain. It arrived with broken parts, I reordered and a few days later the second one arrived with the exact same broken parts. The cast iron pump is only held in place by a 6" long 1-1/2" plastic pipe which snaps off during shipping and the now loose pump then destroys the delicate filter as well. I didn't want to order a 3rd pump so I found the parts (113024 drainage pipe and 113131 intake screen) online and ordered. The supplier I found it turned out didn't have the pipe in stock and after waiting 2 weeks in desperation found a somewhat easy fix: I went to Lowes and bought a pvc adapter (lowes 331503 $2.30) screwed it into the pump, cut the old broken pipe on my table saw to APPROXIMATELY 4-1/2 inches slipped it into the adapter without glue put the lid on without the broken strainer (I put a nylon stocking on the end of the wash mach hose for a filter). it was all plumbed up ready to go by plumbers before we knew it was broken so tighten on clamp, plug it in and it worked perfectly. i gave ease of installation 1 star for obvious reasons. i saw other reviews and this pump seems to arrive broken pretty often. it needs to packed differently inside the pump but then the purchaser would have to remove the packing and assemble the top half onto the base whidh is easy but not everyone would be happy about having to do that.

Im really very happy with this system, im contractor and this is my first time buying this product but really I will continue to like this equipment, its sound is very smooth and very clean work, I will really buy it for my future projects and I highly recommend it!!! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Bought two months before I could get a licensed plumber to install to a slop sink. Hooked everything up and it did not work! Of course my return window is closed so I'm out $290. DON'T PURCHASE this item and don't purchase this type of item via Amazaon!
