This is my third slicer. This slicer has a wood platform and a tool to make blade replacement easier. It feels substantial and works nicely. The previous slicers i owned were all metal. When the blades broke it was impossible to put a new one in and have it stay. I felt like i needed 5 hands. Totally frustrating!!

Not the highest quality for the price, it works well and is easy to use. So I have to give it 4 stars. It could be made a little better and higher quality, but they would then really charge too much. LOL

I had one of these as a kid and loved using it and had not seen one in forever. When I saw this one, I had to have it. It works great! I recently used it with some bulk cheese I got (saves money) and made a nice charcuterie board. It was super easy to cut lot of cheese quickly. It was very easy to clean and I am very happy with it. I highly recommend and would buy it again!

This cheese slicer is great. It's exactly what I wanted. It does the job well, but it's also compact enough that when it's folded, I keep it upright, neatly tucked up against a couple of cutting boards that are on my kitchen counter and lightly lean up against the wall. It looks very tidy.I got a cheese slicer because I heard that cubed cheese has extra preservatives in it to make it last longer. I bought a block of cheese and they're right! The block cheese tastes better and it's easy to make your own cubes with this device. I also like that you can adjust the size of the cubes and aren't just stuck with the size that the store provides. I like to put cheese in pasta salad when I make it, but I feel like the store-bought cubes are a little large for pasta salad. I can make my own cheese cubes now in a smaller size and they're much more appropriate in the dish.Great product, very well packaged and put together, and does the job like a dream!

Back in the day had one of these thought I'd try it again. Don't know why I didn't get this sooner lol. Works like it did back in the seventies love it

This cheese slicer is really nice! It works really well and it looks great on the counter/in the kitchen. You can use it on cheese (of course) and even other soft items like butter. It looks kinda high end too and it's a good compact size.

Very handy cheese slicer, and the best thing, all the surfaces are very smooth!! I eat a ton of cheese, but have been using a small knife for years. Now I can make up a better presentation, with uniform slices, and not worry about cutting my fingers.This is a sturdy item, with 2 extra wires, and small enough to tuck into a drawer.On mine, everything was lined up nice and square - great product!
