Works perfectly in our old Koehler bathtub. No risk of the screw in the base coming out.

After 2 failed attempts to purchase a functioning toe tip from Ace, I made the decision to purchase the Lasco fro Amazon. Once received, the installation was a breeze. Just place the Lasco over the drain, and it worked instantly, no adjustments was needed, no leaking, no falling apart like my previous purchase from Ace Hardware. It really works!!! I immediately purchased a 2nd one as a spare. Don't hesitate to make this purchase from Amazon.

Not sure how to rate them, because the size was wrong. I had to rtn them because I got the hardware too small.

This thing works just as expected! Just be one hundred percent sure you measure to ensure you get the correct size for your tub or drain. I used a spare screw in order to test / measure what I was replacing and what I needed. If you found this review helpful, please click the button below. I received no benefits or product in exchange for this review.

A one minute install. Perfect fit and works like a champ. It is plastic, but is economical, works well and the rubber gasket will give out before the chrome fades anyway.

I ordered this stopper in the hope that it would be a close replacement for the one the plumber installed when the house was built. The great news was that it was identical! The stopper works by "push to close - push again to open" operation, and my original didn't want to open any more. It's an easy screw-in replacement that requires (at most) a flat head screwdriver (you screw off the chrome cap by hand to expose the brass fitting with the notch for the screw driver). Don't over-tighten it, just a snug fit is all you need.As others have cautioned - be sure of your size before ordering (or if in doubt get both, they are cheap enough!). 3/8" is about the diameter of a standard pencil or BIC pen. Take yours out and look at the screw to determine the size or measure with calipers if you are able. Otherwise hold end-to-end with a pencil - same diameter? Then you need 3/8". Smaller than the pencil? You need 5/16.

We initially had a really large stopper and our new tub. Of course I broke it after a few months trying to clean tub. This replacement is a smaller stopper but still covers the drain adequately to keep water in the tub and works great.
