I had a previous locking cap for a number of years and the lock finally gave out. I bought this as it looked similar to my original. This one on the first time I tried to unlick it, gave me fits. I was thinking that I would have to destroy it to get it off the truck. I did get it loose, but now whenever I unlock the mechanism, the key is "stuck" in the lock and will not come out. I have to fill the tak and then reinstall and lock it again to retrieve the key. I don't drive this vehicle much, so am getting by but I wouldn't buy it again.

Bought the lock cap for my truck which doesn’t have a gas door lock. Sometimes I have a hard time with the key to enter & to unlock. Other than that it’s all about securing the gas tank from anyone putting sugar or whatever in my gas tank.

The gas caps fit like they are supposed to and the locking mechanisms were aok and work a bit stiffly as those things commonly do. There is no problem there. The gas caps came very quickly and after they did I just happened to spot my old one at the gas station. I will keep all three.i just know that I will need them later on.

Queda perfecto , solo la llave es un poco dificil de quitar o poner, ya una vez le entiendes el truco de quitar o poner la llave, sin problemas
